MORIMOTO, Toshiaki (Mr.)
Mr. Toshiaki Morimoto received a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology in 1998 and a Master of Biotechnology in 2000, both from the Tokyo University of Science. He was admitted to the Bar of the Japanese Patent Attorney and registered to practice before the Japanese Patent Office in 2006.
When Mr. Morimoto was a member of Astellas Pharma Inc. (Japan), he was a researcher at the Biotechnology Research Center and handled the development of the biopharmaceutical products. When he was a member of patent firms in Japan, he was involved in many affairs under patent and trademark laws in not only Japan but also many foreign countries; these included the preparation and prosecution of Japanese and foreign patent and trademark applications, patent and prior art searches, licensing agreements, litigation, detailed opinion work, and, in general, advising clients on patent, design, and trademark matters.
Mr. Morimoto specializes in chemical and biological patent practices, particularly in the field of life science, including pharmaceuticals, food chemistry, and environmental technology. He wrote the "How to obtain Food Patent" that was published by KORIN Co., Ltd., in 2013 as indicated below.
KAWAMURA, Kazuno (Ms.)
Ms. Kazuno Kawamura received a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering in 2003 from the Ochanomizu University. She was admitted to the Bar of the Japanese Patent Attorney and registered to practice before the Japanese Patent Office in 2011.
When Ms. Kazuno Kawamura was a member of patent firms in Japan, she was involved in many affairs under patent and trademark laws in not only Japan but also many foreign countries; these included the preparation and prosecution of Japanese and foreign patent and trademark applications, patent and prior art searches, detailed opinion work, and, in general, advising clients on patent, design, and trademark matters.
Ms. Kazuno Kawamura has practiced in the intellectual property field, specializing in chemical and mechanical patenting matters.
